Foundations+ Work-Ready
Accelerator

How can rangatahi begin building the foundations for work, training, or further study?

Our Foundations+ programme is the first step in a supported employment, training and education pathway. It is designed for rangatahi who face barriers to employment or learning and need time, structure, and support to build readiness for what comes next.

With strong pastoral care, mentoring, and individual support, rangatahi begin to identify strengths, set goals, and develop an initial pathway plan. Foundations+ prepares learners to transition into Level 1 study, training, or further work-readiness support as part of a wider employment and learning journey.

A Work-Ready Pathway

Our Work-Ready Pathway is designed for rangatahi aged 15–24 who are not currently engaged in work, training, or education and need extra time and support to prepare for their next step. The pathway focuses on work-readiness, confidence-building, and wellbeing within a small, high-support learning environment.

Learners are supported to gain essential employability skills, including building a CV, preparing for interviews, obtaining essential documents (such as IRD numbers, IDs and driver’s licences), developing workplace communication skills, and establishing reliable routines. If you are interested in this option please click on the “Request Course Outline” and choose “Pre-Level 1” from the dropdown menu.
